TrackMan is probably the one piece of equipment that has had the biggest influence on my coaching and I love everything about it. It is a 3D doppler radar that measures everything you want to measure and allows us to customise an improvement plan for you and track whether we are progressing in the right areas.
TrackMan measures everything and I mean everything including exactly how far your ball travels.
This can make a massive difference to your performance, we all know there is nothing worse than a well struck shot that comes up short in the bunker!
I like to use data when I am coaching so that we can measure if we are improving or not and not just based on opinion, based on fact!
TrackMan measures exactly what your club is doing at impact and why that little ball does what it does!
This is key, if you want to know if your driver is right for you we can simply have a look on the optimizer tool and it will give us instant feedback as to where we can make gains.
Everyone delivers the club slightly differently, there is no such thing as optimal spin rate but there is an optimal spin rate for you.
The SAM (Science and Motion) Putt Lab, like TrackMan measures everything and allows us to make educated decisions on what is required to allow you to hole more putts. It is an ultra sound device which measures the key parameters for a solid putting stroke.
SAM Putt Lab uses ultra sound to measure every single movement in your putting stroke.
Once we have gathered the data we require we can generate reports and create training plans to ensure that you are on track to hole more putts!
We use the SAM Putt Lab outside now as much as we can because putting on a Mat inside is not like the real thing and the numbers back this up.
SAM Putt Lab is used by the best players the world over and is a must for serious golfers.
Once we have done a measurement the SAM Putt Lab will give you a score based on all the factors of your putting stroke.
We can use this as a baseline in which to launch our improvement plan from and also design training programs
As you have no doubt gathered we don't like to guess, we like data and we like to base our training on this data which is why we use and trust Shots to Hole. Shots to Hole is a revolutionary statistical analysis program used by many of the leading golf academies and national bodies the world over.
Using the Analysis tab we are able to see where you can make the most gains in your game. By simply sliding the bar across the page we will see how many strokes you can save and in what areas of the game.
Every inch counts in this game. Did you know that an average 18 handicap player loses around 2 shots per round compared to a scratch player putting inside 15 feet.
And that from 100-120 Yards the PGA Tour Average is 19 feet! Whats your average? What would happen if you hit is closer?
One of the great tools that lies within Shots to Hole is the "Charts" tab. Charts allow you to dig even deeper in to your data and customise the information so that it is relevant to your game.
